VR is one of those experiences that going into, I wasn’t sure what to expect. After all, I hadn’t tried it for any length of time before, only at Dark Matters. New to Edmonton, and likely to be something that you’ve never tried before, it’s a great date night idea if you’re searching for something different to do on your next date night in Edmonton.
What kind of VR games can you play at Breakout VR?
From a horror game like the Visitor, to introduction games like the Rec Room, you can choose a wide variety of games to play. Task based games, like Job Simulator are one of our favourite ways to get started, to get you used to movement and performing tasks. There are 20 games in all to choose from – meaning that you’re going to want to go back more than once to experience as many as you can. With so many different games to choose from, it means that you’re going to be able to find something you’re interested in playing, regardless of whether you’re a traditional video game player, or not.
It’s $15 for one hour of game play, and it’s recommended to play a maximum of two hours at a time. At thirty bucks, for two people, for an hour, it’s not too hard on the wallet and you can grab dinner afterwards (like Tuesdays cheap tacos at El Cortez).
