On April 1st, there’s a street party in town and you’re not going to want to miss it. It’s a Farewell to winter, a chance to get outside, explore the city – through food and drink and be the first of the season to spend time on the extended patios.
EEDC, in partnership with the Foundry Real Estate Co. will be hosting their annual Second Season Street Party, from 11 am to 8 pm, downtown. Rice Howard Way will be shut down for the event to allow for extended patios and family-friendly programming elements, all day long.
Extended Patios will be created for CRAFT Beer Market, McLeod Tavern and Sherlock Holmes Pub and you’ll find Tres Carnales right in the middle, cooking up their famous tacos.
In addition to tacos, there are s’mores and wagon rides. How’s that for a good Saturday afternoon.
Live music throughout the day will be curated by the Chrvch of John, you’ll find: DJ Kris Harvey, Parker David Doyle, DJ Polyesterday, Bedside, and the Betrayers.
Parking for the street party is free for attendees, and can be found at the Westcorp Parkade located at 10135 100A Street.
Say Farewell to winter and hello to patio season at the place to be this Saturday! Get the details for the Farewell to Winter Party at the event page.
