5 Reasons an All Inclusive Resort Should Be Your Next Datecation

Date night is great – but sometimes you need to get out of town. A date weekend, or even a date week, can help you to reconnect with one another, letting go of all of the to-do lists, stress and tasks that come with being at home.

Wondering what route to take? Maybe you’re considering the cheap flights to explore Europe, or Iceland, that YEGDeals shares, or maybe you’ve found a great deal on a warm destination where you can soak your feet in the sand and cool off in clear blue waters.

Here are a few of the reasons that an all-inclusive resort should be on your datecation list:

It’s cheap | You can find a great deal on a vacation, especially if you’ve got a flexible schedule or are searching for a last minute vacation deal. The last trip we picked up last minute was $780/person, for a half decent resort, where the drinks were plentiful and the beach was incredible.

You Don’t have to worry about who picks up the tab | Skip the awkwardness of who is picking up dinner or the next round of drinks because at all the all inclusive resort, you’ve only got to worry about the tip. Perfection, right?

It’s Easy |  You don’t have to cook, you don’t have to make drinks, you don’t have to clean up and tidy – you don’t have to do anything if you don’t want to. You don’t even have to leave the resort if you’re in the mood to sit on the beach and spend the week doing absolutely nothing.

The Beach | You’ll have no better nap in your life, than you will in the sand on a comfortable beach chair – right beside the ocean. If I could bottle up that sound and bring it home with me, I could. There’s no white noise or ocean waves soundtrack that compares with the real thing. Spend the day on the beach and the night in the club, or catching up on Netflix – whatever your style, and you’ll come home rejuvenated.

Massage on the Cheap | Many of the resorts that we’ve gone to as a couple have offered cheap massage services, and often right on the beach. There’s nothing better than the sound of the waves beside you as you’re getting a rub down for under fifty bucks for the hour, in a hut on the sand. Even better, you can book ahead of time and make it a couples massage.
