Pop up Coffee Crawl | Downtown
In celebration of Raceweek’s two international sporting events, Tour of Alberta and ITU World Triathlon, Revolution Cycle is offering coffee lovers a unique opportunity to check out some great local shops on e-bikes! Join Revolution Cycle as they explore downtown Edmonton in style and visit Café Rista, Bru Coffee and Beer House and Zocalo. Come hungry! You’ll be fed too – bonus.

Dark Sky Preserve Party | Elk Island Park
The Beaver Hills Dark Sky Preserve’s 11th annual Star Party will be bigger and better than ever before, featuring guest speakers and volunteer astronomers to help show you the stars with both solar and night sky viewing.

Rust Magic Street Mural Festival | Downtown
Expect to see new public art along Jasper Avenue, The Quarters, Whyte Avenue and into the French Quarters. 14 murals are waiting to explode with bold colour and style.

Eat Bacon at Baconfest | Fort Edmonton Park
Taste your choice of many creative bacon recipes from over 10 locally renowned restaurants including the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald, Packrat Louie Kitchen and Bar and Zinc while you mingle with bacon-loving friends, enjoy live music by Edmonton’s country/rock band Mojave Iguanas and chuckle at bacon-themed comedy acts by Donovan Workun from Atomic Improv. Food tickets are available for $3.00 each and are available for sale at the event.

Symphony in the City | Churchill Square
This Labour Day long weekend, ATB Financial, the City of Edmonton and the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra are excited to bring back the incredibly successful ATB Symphony in the City – a fun free event to end the summer! This event will be a chance for families to gather in a shared community experience in Churchill Square to celebrate our city’s summer festival season with an explosive finale. Come early for activities in the square. On September 2 and 3 and come experience some of Disney’s most well-known classic songs, performed by the ESO and supplemented by Disney animations appearing onscreen. The venue for the festival is Churchill Square, so remember to bring a chair!
