Walking into Paint Night, I noticed one thing – there were a lot of women in the room. Though I was outnumbered, there were beers and nachos, we go ready to paint the night’s feature.
The experience was great, though I expected a bit more instruction from the leader of the group. The painting we were recreating was a bit different in appearance from the one that appeared online, and had me wondering whether we should choose something a bit more basic, next time around to make sure we’re getting the same experience.
Here are a few reasons you’re going to want to try Paint Nite:
It’s hilarious. We laughed, and laughed and laughed. We laughed at each other’s artistic skills (or lack thereof), laughed with the hilarious creations around the room (someone painted a T-Rex on their painting). We laughed at the Star Wars theme that came alive, and the fact that I had to paint over my Eiffel tower because those painting skills are just not there.
You might discover a hidden skill. It turns out, though we weren’t as great as the person to the right of us at the table (she was amazing), I did have some mad blending skills.
The drinks. Remember how we laughed, a lot? That’s multiplied by the fact that there’s drinks. Paint Nite is even more fun when you’re drinking creatively as they say.
You get a full on memento of your date. If you’re the sentimental type, you can keep those paintings as a memory of your first date, your fifth date or that time you tried something new.
Book your next date at www.paintnite.com and remember to use the discount codes on the Paint Nite description page to reduce the price to only $25.
